I was never much of a data person, but I see its value now in getting to know myself better through biometric data. I'm so happy I got the WHOOP band. Love seeing my sleep and recovery stats especially, and insights on how much of a workout I can/should do for the day. WHOOP's AI assistant is one of the best I've seen; very well-trained model, retains context across multiple conversation threads. Freeletics - I'm looking at you and your useless "Coach" AI - you could take a leaf out of WHOOP's book.
A treat to myself - got the gorgeous Dune with Gold SuperKnit Luxe WHOOP Band.

From 1 December (the date I started using WHOOP) until now, I've already racked up 11 hours of sleep debt (only the gods know how much I owe for my entire lifetime?). Inconsistent sleep times, late meals, insufficient hours. This is why I tend to snooze a lot after the morning alarm. I know all along my body's been telling me I need MOAR SNEEP ~ ~ ~ but at least now that I have DATA, I can plan to eradicate the debt by, say, sleeping 1.5 hours earlier each night? The score should be settled in a week.

I'm not the most disciplined person. But today I realised discipline really is all about making better choices. I can choose not to procrastinate. I can choose to have dinner earlier. I can choose to hop into bed by 10:30PM.

Today's 30-minute run (3km) and chest workout should also tire me out enough and make me fall asleep earlier.

Didn't get to work on any FAFO project because I started late after the snooze and the run and everything. Today's focus was getting as much paid work done as possible. It will be like this for the next two days, too, as I have morning appointments. Hope to get home by noon both days so I can smash out all client work before my trip.
