I had brought with me (I forget when) from my childhood home, an old, warped carom board. I had grand plans to refurbish it into a gorgeous coffee table. The idea was simple. Fix the notches, glaze it with epoxy, and perhaps cover it with an acrylic pane. It has been with me for years, from my last rental home until now.

As with many things, it's time I face up to the fact that this is one of those things I will never get around to. It was a good idea, but not one that I ever had (or will have) the resources for. I bid it goodbye and off to recycling it went.
The same applies to side projects and business ideas. If something's been in the "idea folder" for more than three years, chuck it. If it was something that truly excited you, you'd have gotten it started in a weekend.
I did have energy to clean these blinds, though. They haven't been cleaned since I installed them in 2018 🙂🙃
